Each Limited Reserve is unique, reflecting the characteristics of the rare, unparalleled honey. The chances of us making this again are slim, as the opportunity to make honey over UMF 26+ only comes around when we have an exceptional vintage and when the maturing of the honey is perfect. The Limited Reserve Honey is harvested from the most isolated areas of New Zealand. It is in this unspoilt and rugged environment that the Manuka bush flourishes and the world's finest Mānuka honey is made.

Premium honey demands premium packaging. We designed the luxury, wooden presentation case because we felt this high quality UMF 26+ Manuka honey deserved a little more care and attention than the rest. Every detail in the packaging reflects the special nature of this honey. Each outer box is sealed with a Manuka South authenticity seal. Each seal states the specific production number on the box. The long history of the family business is expressed through the custom Manuka South black wax seal on the front.

Each Manuka South UMF 28+ Limited Reserve box has been carefully hand-crafted right here in New Zealand, from sustainably sourced Roasted Oak, and finished in a natural stain to enhance the texture of the wood grain. The unit is finished with wood oil, then hand polished with a special beeswax-based polish.

Harvested from hives placed near a secluded Manuka rich forest and only accessible by helicopter, this raw honey is uniquely cellared to mature the beneficial properties to reach an extraordinarily high UMF 32+.

UMF, or Unique Manuka Factor, is a prestigious grading system ensuring the potency and authenticity of mānuka honey. It measures key markers like methylglyoxal (MGO), dihydroxyacetone (DHA), and leptosperin, which are unique to mānuka honey. The UMF rating reflects these compounds' concentration, guaranteeing the honey's strength and purity. Higher UMF ratings indicate richer, more potent honey. This rating system is a promise of the quality and authenticity of our manuka honey.
